I have been reading the same online newspaper for many years, but recently I have been looking more and more at the Google News feed on my phone. This does direct me to some interesting things I probably wouldn’t have seen otherwise, but also to a lot of total rubbish! Some of its selections suggest that Google knows me very well, and others not at all… And some content it presents me with I am sure I have only spoken about, so now I wonder if it is listening in to my conversations!
