They are also a time for <strong>self-examination<\/strong> and thinking about <strong>making changes<\/strong> to our lives. In anglophone countries people talk about making <strong>new year&#8217;s resolutions<\/strong>: to live more healthily, give up bad habits, start a new hobby, write that book, start that business, get to that B2 or C1 level in the language you are learning&#8230; the year is <strong>full of potential<\/strong>. A new year&#8217;s resolution is <strong>a promise to yourself<\/strong> that you are willing to commit to making a change.
