I have always liked the Scandinavian expression “there’s no such thing as bad weather, just the wrong clothing”. At this time of year, when I begin to come home with wet feet or cold ears, I will again realise that the weather isn’t the problem, I just don’t have the right clothes. If I liked buying clothes maybe this wouldn’t be an issue, but I guess that’s not going to happen. Then again, maybe I could just get one of theseand make myself virtually weatherproof!
