Enjoy Language

Language teachers tell their students “don’t forget to keep in contact with the language over the summer”. This is essential advice, but I would like to vary it slightly to “don’t forget to enjoy the language over the summer“. Don’t study (unless that’s what you enjoy), but engage with what you really like and that you understand pretty well. For example, Sirens for C1/C2, a short podcast on the history of salt for B1/B2, or a Jane Austen graded reader for B1 or a video story about the beach for A1/A2.
