Darwin Day

The 12th of February is Darwin Day, coinciding with the anniversary of the birth of Charles Darwin in 1809. Darwin’s ideas about evolution and natural selection were controversial but generally accepted into the discourse and debates of the period. Over time the general concept of evolution became mainstream and it is evident how it radically changed the way we think about ourselves and the world we live in. I wonder if we will be able to say the same in the future about any current scientific hot-topics like, for example, artificial intelligence or quantum physics? Anyway, for now, why not find out a little more about Darwin and celebrate some crucial discoveries in human history by clicking on the picture to access our new quiz?
